Resep Seblak Cireng

Introduction



Seblak cireng is a popular Indonesian street food that originated from Bandung, West Java. It is a combination of two snacks, seblak and cireng, which are both made from wheat flour. Seblak is a spicy and savory dish made with a mixture of vegetables, meat, and crackers, while cireng is a fried snack made from a dough of tapioca flour and water. Ingredients



For the seblak:
- 100 grams of dried noodles
- 50 grams of dried tofu
- 50 grams of dried meatballs
- 2 cups of water
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 red chilies, sliced
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
For the cireng:
- 200 grams of tapioca flour
- 100 ml of water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil


Instructions



1. To make the seblak, soak the dried noodles, dried tofu, and dried meatballs in hot water for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant.
3. Add the red chilies and green chilies and cook for another 2 minutes.
4. Add the soaked noodles, tofu, and meatballs to the pan and stir well.
5. Pour in the water and bring to a boil.
6. Add the salt, sugar, and sweet soy sauce and stir well.
7. Let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes until the noodles are soft and the sauce has thickened.
8. To make the cireng, mix the tapioca flour, water, salt, sugar, and vegetable oil in a bowl until well combined.
9. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
10. Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them into discs.
11. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and fry the cireng until golden brown.
12. Serve the seblak and cireng together on a plate.
